Korean cosmetics haul (in Taipei)

Hey everyone~

When I came to Taipei, I didn't pack very much as I thought I could simply buy everything here.
Which was a bad idea, I might add. You can buy everything you need here, but it's quite expensive compared to Korea.

I bought most things from Etude House, since their shops are almost everywhere. They also added the most samples for me, which was nice.
Something else that was nice about their shops:
They still had many items of Etude House's Sweet Recipe collection!
I was really happy about that, because when I was in Korea in 2013, lots of those items were sold out already.

The first item I got was their Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color in RD301, Rasberry Mousse Cake.

Then I also got one of their Sweet Recipe Dear My Jelly Lips talk lipsticks. So far, I really love it ^^

Finally, something I actually needed: cleansing tissues.

And a dry shampoo. Taipei is quite humid, so basically I gotta wash my hair every day for it to look okay-ish. This is for lazy days, or when I don't have any time to wash my hair. Or for those days during which I only have time to shower in the morning...and in the morning, except for one shower stall, the water is cold.

Their silk scarf hair treatment~ My hair is pretty damaged so I needed something to help me with that. When I bought it, they added another one for free as there was a Buy 1 Get 1 event going on.

I also went to Skinfood because I needed a toner, and theirs are always great. However, they're super expensive here. I paid around 700NTD for this one (almost 20€) >< But I really needed a toner, my skin is pretty dry here.

I also went to Tony Moly to get their Cats Wink clear powder. Since the weather here is pretty humid, and it will only get even more humid in summer, only BB cream will not last very long.

I also bought two sheet masks at Innisfree because they were cheap.

So that's my small haul for today.
If you want any reviews of a specific item, please feel free to tell me! :D
Do you have any of those cosmetics yourself? If yes, how do you like them ? ^^

Love, Lydia

Skinfood Lettuce & Cucumber Toner Review

Hey everyone~Here's another review for you all ^-^I've got lots of stuff that I still have to review (especially all the things I bought in Korea last year), so since I don't want to spam you with travel posts (of which I still have many to write), I'll try to keep a balance between Skincare stuff and Travel posts. Right now i'm a tiny bit busy so I haven't had time to edit all the photos of my Asia trip yet. Which is why today you'll see a review of a Skincare product instead. Yay or Nay? :D

Price: Between 7 and 10€ on EbayAmount: 135mlSo I bought this because I couldn't buy a toner in Korea and I really needed one. Why, you might ask?Well...my luggage was over the weight limit already when I came to Korea, so I had to stick to lightweight things and Toners in glass bottles are kinda heavy. T^T So I ordered this one from Ebay.

The ingredients list is only in Korean, so if you particularly care about those you might need to use a translator. It says "A Moisture toner with lettuce and cucumber extracts that promotes clean, pure skin"Which is exactly what I need. My skin is not oily at all, but tends to get a few dry areas and is really sensitive.I'm a little bit upset though that the only item that seemed suitable was this one.Compared to all the other cool skincare lines from Skinfood, Lettuce and Cucumber just kind of sounds really...boring. T^T It doesn't look as cool as their other skincare lines either.

I still love how detailed all of Skinfood's product packaging is. Look at that lettuce and cucumber on the bottle :DBy the way, it actually smells like cucumber. If you don't like that smell, beware.I happen to really like cucumber (it's so refreshing to eat in summer), so it's alright for me.

The texture is like any other toner, very watery and not that thick. It easily soaks into your skin and feels very lightweight, not sticky at all.So far, I haven't noticed many changes in my skin condition since I've started using it (already used up half of the bottle now). I only get pimples when I'm on my period (you girls know that problem, right? ;-;) and my skin still feels dry sometimes, but I guess to actually give your skin moisture you'd need to use something stronger than just a toner. This one feels refreshing to apply in the morning, and it prepares my skin for the next steps. And it didn't break me out, even though my skin does that quickly with new products, so yay :DDo you use Skinfood products too? Which ones would you recommend, or which ones would you like to try? :D

Kpoptown Mini Haul

First of all, sorry for not posting anything for over a month. I got a really bad cold that stuck with me for 2-3 weeks, then I went to Munich for Teen Top's concert and meanwhile my skin decided to go crazy on me so I stopped using most of the products I own to figure out which one caused this and haven't been able to write any reviews.

Anyways~

Shortly before Christmas and then again during the end of January I ordered (together with Jenny )  some things on Kpoptown. I just planned to order a calendar as a belated Christmas gift for myself but then I found out that Kpoptown now started selling Korean cosmetics as well. For the first order, I managed to hold myself back enough to only order small things.

Then in January, Jenny and I ordered the Block B World Camp DVD, as we both participated in the Camp and wanted to have this as a memory for ourselves. I also ordered two skincare products with it, but Kpoptown only delivered one -.- We got the money back, but we already paid for custom fees and those included the product that was not shipped to us. This sucked especially since the one product they sent was the one I needed the most (Etude House's White Trouble Essencializer, because I have lots of tiny bumbs under my skin right now and now I don't have any idea how to get rid of them anymore T^T)
Conclusion: Don't order on Kpoptown. The shipping fees are huge and their service is not the best at all. This is not the first time they forgot to send something, and last time I didn't even get my money back. The cosmetic products are slightly overpriced too.

Onto the things I got:

Etude House's Vanilla Moist Eye's Cream
10,90$ on Kpoptown.
Recently I discovered some small lines under my eyes, and I'm only 19...so I kind of panicked and purchased this. OTL

Etude House Wonder Pore Brush
4,95$ on Kpoptown.
I'm using this regularly now, but so far I haven't really seen any differences.
It's fun to use though.

Etude House Missing U Greentea Nose Pack
They don't have this listed on their website anymore, but as far as I remember it cost me 1,50$ on Kpoptown.

The main reasons for buying stuff on Kpoptown:

Exo Desk Calendar
17,90$ on Kpoptown.
Bought this because I really needed a calendar for 2013.

Tao's definitely not  the reason for me buying this one.
This perfection does not affect me at all.
*cough*

Block B's BBC World Camp DVD
34,90$ on Kpoptown
This includes two DVD's and a photobook.
I'm slightly~ disappointed by the DVD . They cut out like 50% of the programm at the camp, and also..we had cameras in our faces all the time, yet they don't show us for even a second T^T
The photobook is great quality though.

Minhyuk stop it.

See the arrow? That's me.
I look super awkward, right? xD

That's all I bought ^^
Anyways, I'll try my best to update more regularly. My laptop is recently being slower than a snail so it takes me a while to upload and edit photos.
I have two reviews almost finished, so please stick with me :D
Have a nice day everyone ^^
And if you have opinions about Kpoptown as well, please share them in the comments below

Nature Republic Sleeping Tonight Neroli Sleeping Pack Review

Neroli Sleeping Pack: Mushy type of texture filled with scent of Neroli
quickly repairs the tired skin

Hey everyone~ ^^ I finally got to do a review on another product I bought when I was in Seoul, and this one's actually one of my favourites! :D

pretty flower~

150 ml
5,86$ on Koreadepart

Ingredients:
The packaging is also recycaple :D yay~

spreading it~
finished~ you can barely see that there's something on my skin, right?

It feels more like a gel than like a cream, and it absorbs really well into my skin. Only a small amount is needed for spreading it on my cheeks. I always tend to leave out the chin, nose and forehead as those are the areas where I get break-outs easily.
The gel feels kind of cooling, but not too much...which is great, since it's winter here right now and everything's already cool enough. ^^
After it absorbed into the skin it doesn't feel like I'm having anything on my skin anymore. I'm only feeling a slight stickiness when I'm touching my cheeks, but that's not something that bothers me much...I mean, no one really touches their cheeks while sleeping, so it doesn't matter.

I LOVE IT. I look forward to going to bed every night just because I can apply the sleeping pack and smell it again xD  That's how much I love it~ <3
It has a very light flowery scent, not smelling chemical at all. The scent is not too strong and fades after applying the gel onto the skin, so it's just the right amount I guess.
I can't really tell if it's "filled with the scent of Neroli" like it's written on the packaging, since I don't really know how Neroli flowers smell...but all in all, the scent is just really nice. ^^

When I wake up in the morning, my skin really does feel a little softer than usually. It doesn't feel sticky like it normally does and I feel a little...I don't know, happier when waking up? xD It's just a nice feeling in general. About the promised skin repair....I guess that's something I can't  really measure. My skin does feel better directly after waking up, but I can't see any dramatic changes in it. I'm still super satisfied with this product :D

                                                            5/5 Stars :D

I really love the smell and the general feeling of this sleeping pack, and it does keep it's promises as far I can tell so 5/5! :D

Koreadepart Skincare & Cosmetics Haul

About two weeks ago, a friend and I decided to order some things from Koreadepart because we discovered so much more awesome products (judging from reviews on other blogs) that we didn't buy in Korea. The package finally arrived on Tuesday and wow~ Koreadepart really is fast.
For those of you who don't know Koreadepart, here's a short description of the online shop:
Koreadepart sells all kinds of Korean skincare, cosmetics, even some food and clothes. They have a big~ selection of various brands such as Etude House, The Face Shop and others. When ordering, you have to send two payments:  -One directly after ordering (=price of the items)
-Another one after they bought all items and weighed the package (=shipping price)
All in all, the process took less than two weeks for us. Including shipping. Our package was sent with EMS, so we were also able to track our package. There weren't any cheaper options for shipping to Europe, but since we ordered together the shipping came out quite cheap for us (only 15€ for each).

Now to the interesting part:

This is what I spent my money on:

All in all I ordered 10 items (one was Tony Moly's Egg Pore Tightening Egg for my sister, which is not included in the picture) and it cost me about 50€ if I remember it right.

Tony Moly:

Cat Chu Lip Tint (Red)
Egg Pore Blackhead Out Oil
Panda's Dream Good-bye Dark Eye Corrector

Etude House:

Milk Tea Cleansing Cream
Wonderpore Freshner
Oh My God It's That Time Again Heat Patch

Skinfood:

Good Afternoon Peach&Cinammon Tea BB Cream

Nature Republic :

Green Tea Sheet Mask (5 pcs)
Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

And those are the samples I got:

I will do a review of all of those when I have more time ^^ And the weather is better...right now the lightning sucks 90% of the day, that's why the pictures look kind of crappy. Sorry about that T^T

If there's anything you would like me to review first, just tell me in the comments below ^^
